The Zen In Mine Heart

Wed Nov 4, 2009, 11:07 PM
Dear Journal, :ost2life:

I need to be much more calmer. *thinks of shaving off eyebrows* No no, that won't do. :meditation:.

I'm surprised that Tibetan Dzi beads actually work in some small way. Right now I'm taking it really hard and not adapting to my new job well, because there's tons of things that are not in the initial job description.

:ohmygod:

*sighs* :faint: It makes me all anxious and nervous. *sits in a lotus position and goes into full bliss mode.*

Yours truly,
Visk

We Are All Fighting

Thu Oct 15, 2009, 11:52 PM
Dear Journal, :relaxed:

Can't we artists and writers get along with each other? Man, there's so much competition with the world being so big, it doesn't make sense to compete because it's just plain impossible to best each other.

We've got to help each other out, stand together, and tell each other of the opportunities we see. :teamwork:

Look, we're all, ALL struggling to make a name for ourselves, :work: and it won't help if we compete this fiercely. :ohmygod: I found out that, if we teach each other our techniques and support each other, we will grow much faster as artists and writers.

Faster. Instead of wasting all this time competing, we can be constructive. We can become more accomplished in half the time it would take most artists and writers who just compete instead of learn from their mistakes.

We can't learn much from people who review but don't do our crafts!

Yours truly,
Visk

WHOO HOO

Tue Sep 22, 2009, 8:25 AM
Dear Journal,

A wonderful thing happened to me two weeks ago. I got expelled from Art school! :evillaugh: If I knew life would be this good, I would have gotten myself booted out so much sooner. Of course I'll miss my dear studio mates and lecturers but what the hell! I'm out here in the real world!

I've saved myself two years over there. No need a diploma, right now I'm working on a solar panel importing new family business. Plus I've got to re-cap on volts watts and all that Science stuff that FINALLY came into use in real life!

I got expelled because I was caught vandalising someone's artwork. That someone bullied one of my mates in the studio see. :shakefist: I was sly, but not sly enough. :ninjastar:

So in a few month's time, in my homeland, I would probably be on someone's roof fixing on solar panels using tools. :worker: Pa thinks I need basic safety equipment, Ma thinks I need more safety equipment.

All the time to do art. All the time to do my writing. :typerhappy: Oh my gods! Only a few days after being expelled I was in my room with a cigar, nachos with cheese dip and Coca-Cola on the rocks. Gods only know what could have happened to me if my mum caught me doing that!

:stereo:
