Good Things Never Last

Dear Journal,

In exactly 8 days time, I must return to that establishment called an art school. In all honesty I don't like school. :fear: It's filled with fake people. All around!

For example when school started, people looked down on me because I wore painting clothes to school, mostly overalls and jumpers. Then after my work was displayed, people wanted to be associated with me. Yucks.

Well these people don't want to know me, they want to know my work! Insincere people is an awful thing of life that we all have to contend with... But I try to avoid them.

I wonder if this will turn me into some recluse! :dygel::nieman::blackice:

Well I'll just cherish my last days of pure freedom before returning to that hole.

Well, looking at my own crap art certainly has not helped, but looking at other people's really good work has helped!

I'm kind of the oppisite, I see someone else's good art work and cant help but think why am I not there yet? Although latley I've been getting into my artist bios again and this one "Secret lives of artists" has really helped me see I'm not that alone in my insanity. I love that book. I'm shocked at how much I can relate!

Hee hee, well, just be more confident of yourself then, "I know I can get there, I just need more work." (It's why I get motivated. Work hard enough, and I'm sure to get there!)

Of course, we artists lead very, very secret lives. Speaking of bios, you seem like a person who writes. Why not join my friend's website? (I'm marvelling at her because she's only 16 and she can come up with stuff like this!)

Believe it or not I really dont write at all, But I do read alot.

I have some ideas for stories tho, just can never put them into words or get a solid plot going.
